Dr. E. Y. Lavanya is a skilled Consultant Ophthalmologist specializing in Cornea and Anterior Segment surgeries at Smt. Rajeswari Ramakrishnan Lions Eye Hospital.

She completed her MBBS from Deccan Medical College, Hyderabad, followed by a Diploma in Ophthalmology (DO) from Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal. To gain advanced expertise, she underwent a Comprehensive Fellowship in Cornea at the prestigious L.V. Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), Hyderabad.

During her fellowship at LVPEI, Dr. Lavanya actively contributed to the Andhra Pradesh Eye Disease Study, a major research project conducted by LVPEI, gaining valuable experience in clinical research and population-based eye disease analysis.

She joined our hospital on 24 March 2025 and provides comprehensive services in cataract surgery and corneal surgeries, with a strong focus on clinical excellence, patient safety, and evidence-based care.
